The management team is non responsive most of the time. There is only one shared bathroom for 4 rooms (8 people). During my stay, I saw three lads living in a single room, there was an incident in the house, police asked everyone to leave, but there was no update, excuse, or response from the people who were managing the property. There is one key for the main door outside. You have to put it back every time you have to get in, no matter how bad the weather is.

The place is near the city centre (5 minuteswalk), has a good kitchen, is properly heated and has a reasonable sized bedroom. We had to extend our stay and to keep the same room because of the luggage. These guys allowed us to keep the same room for one person after our guest left.

There isn't parking. The streets around are Residents paring 8.00am to 10.00pm everyday. It was suggested there was a place on the corner from 6.00pm but not found definitely no spaces if there was. The bathroom is shared with maybe all rooms. It's like a clean student bedsit house.

It is an unmanned house whereby the key-code is sent to you on the day. The location is good if you want centre of town and it's a rugby international day......and the the prices of the other options are way too high. I assume the bedding was clean. The room had a lock. I had a bed and a bedside table. There was a kitchen downstairs.

It was a last minute booking, the house was clean but pretty basic, with a shared kitchen and bathroom which is in the room description so was expected. The set up for key access is well organised and the location is fantastic, right next to Cardiff castle and the central part of city. The only improvement would be a tv in the room but free wi fi is provided. For a 1 night stay we found it perfect with the owner being very polite and helpful whom visited. In all you get what you pay for if you want 5 stars for £200 quid a night go elsewhere. But for the price and location it’s a bargain.

Very little effort has been made on the room. This is such a big house in a brilliant location, just needs some tlc! Could have given it a higher rating but attention to detail and effort is lacking. I couldn't access the wifi, it wasn't clear where the password was. The sound of other peoples doors banging kept me awake at night/woke me up in the morning. Towel was grubby. No one to greet upon arrival. No mirror in bedroom. Room was dusty.

The guests who were staying were welcoming. Good location. Lots of space. Towels provided. Lock on my room made me feel safe. Bathroom and kitchen were clean. Instructions upon arrival were clear.

The place and the room and the toilet(shared) where not very clean. There was not toilet paper during one day. No towels supplied, you need to bring yours. My room did not have lock, so anyone could enter during my stay.

Location is very good, very near to the castle and to the city center (around 10 minutes walking). It has WiFi which is not shown in the description. The communication with the host is simple and he is helpful every time you need something. The price is fair with the quality.

Description doesn't mention its a shared bathroom and kitchen. No cutlery or mugs/coffee/sugar/ no towels. You literally pay for the room. There was no TV only a sofa and a bed in the room I was in and the code to get in the front door wasnt working so I had to contact the owner to be able to get in. The walls are also very thin so you can hear everyone moving around upstairs and also hear the next door neighbours.

A 2 minute walk from Principality stadium. A 5 minute walk into the town center. The bed was comfy but only 1 pillow. Bottled water available in the fridge. Owner easily contactable.

Cockroach infestation! There were cockroaches on the floor in our room (room 5) and there was one right by my head on the window ledge! We had to leave the guesthouse at 2am only after two hours of uncomfortable sleep. The property is unsanitary and Infested with cockroaches. This is hands down the worst property we have ever stayed in. The owner shouldn’t have been allowed to rent out such a property with such poor conditions. We have filed a complaint with the portal Booking.com, contacted the owner and filed a complaint with the council as well asking for the licence of the property to be removed. The bathroom is shared - even though on the booking confirmation it was never mentioned. The bed was supposed to be a double bed but was more a dignified single bed with polyester sheets. The reviews were very poor but as this was the only one available we took the risk. A big mistake. We paid £256 for the night on 5 May . The price was highly inflated due to Bruce Springsteen’s concert on the same night. The same room on 6 May costs £23 on Booking.com. As much as three different review indicate the presence of rats in the garden as well (there are pictures as well)!!! How horrifying! Please avoid this property and don’t fall for the scam as we did.

Bit tatty could do with decorating a bit but to be honest it did the job and for the price was sound.... little bit dodgy having a key safe above the drain grate 🤣 specially if we've had a few beers 😏
